It is set to be a "blustery" day tomorrow as strong gale-force wind are set to buffet the west of Ireland.
Met Eireann have issued a Status Yellow Gale warning for the west coast from Mizen Head to Slyne Head to Malin Head for Wednesday. It comes into effect at midnight and stays in place until 7pm on Wednesday with southwest winds expected to reach Gale Force 8 and up to Gale Force 9.
The rest of the country will experience "gusty" winds and scattered showers on Wednesday however, the east will be least affected by the rain with longer, drier sunny spells.

For the remainder of the week, temperatures will stay rather mild with above average temperatures for this time of year as it reaches up to 17C on certain days.
It will be a washout week ahead for most as weather is set to become quite wet at times with plenty of rain forecast.

Today, October 25
Scattered showers in the west and south this morning spreading northwards. Becoming mostly cloudy with persistent and locally heavy rain spreading from the south later in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees with moderate to fresh southeasterly winds developing.
Windy tonight with rain clearing to showers early on, some turning heavy or thundery at times. Mild with lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees, with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.
Wednesday, October 26
Blustery with scattered showers extending across the country, with longer, drier sunny spells in the east. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds.
Wednesday night will be mostly dry early on in the night with clear spells. Showers developing on western and southern coasts towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes.
Thursday, October 27
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain along southern and western coasts. Persistent rain extends from the south through the afternoon and evening. Mild with highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate southeasterly winds.
Thursday night: Rain will clear all but the northwest early in the night with clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds.
Friday, October 28
After a mostly bright start, cloud will thicken through the day with rain following later in the south of the country. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southerly or variable winds.
Rain moving into southern areas on Friday night will spread northwards with clear spells following. Light to moderate southeasterly winds veering southerly as the rain clears. Lows of 9 to 11 degrees.
Saturday, October 29
A mostly dry start on Saturday, with outbreaks of rain in southern and western areas through the day. Heavy rain is possible in the south later on. Highs of 14 to 16 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
The further outlook for next weekend shows there is more wet and windy weather in store for the remainder of the weekend.
