Ireland is set to have a wet and windy end to the weekend that will continue into the first half of the coming week.
Met Eireann has forecast heavy rain to blast the majority of the country over the coming days, with just a few sunny spells poking through the cloud at times.
Connacht and Ulster are to see the worst of the conditions as they are pelted with downpours and strong gusts.

A forecaster said: “Largely cloudy for the rest of today but some sunny spells in places also.
“Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will be most frequent in the west and northwest with a good deal of dry weather elsewhere.
“Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees generally in light to moderate and gusty southwest winds, fresher in the west.”
Tonight will be mild, humid and mostly cloudy, with showery outbreaks of rain again affecting Connacht and west Ulster.
Long dry spells will be seen elsewhere with just occasional showers. However, it will become misty in places with pockets of fog possible.
Temperatures not falling below 10 or 11 degrees in moderate southwest winds, fresh to strong on western and northwestern coasts.
Tomorrow morning will generally be cloudy, with showers spreading countrywide from the west, turning heavy in the afternoon and evening across Ulster and north Connacht.
It will brighten up in the afternoon too, with spells of sunshine developing.
Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, warmest towards the east, with moderate southwest breezes veering west.
Scattered showers, mainly over the western half of the country, with long clear spells elsewhere throughout the night.
Pockets of mist and fog will likely form. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees. Light southwest winds will become northwesterly in direction by morning.
Showers will become widespread during Monday morning, interspersed with bright or sunny spells.
Showers will turn increasingly heavy in the afternoon with possible thundery downpours, particularly in the east.
Feeling fresher with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees and a moderate northwest breeze.
Becoming dry and clear in most areas as showers clear early in the night, but they will continue in western coastal areas overnight.
Another day of showers on Tuesday with some sunny periods, with the odd heavy shower.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees, best values towards the east coast, with a moderate westerly breeze.
On Tuesday night, it will become drier for a time however cloud will thicken overnight, with some rain developing on western coasts later.
Breezy or windy on Wednesday with showers or longer spells of rain spreading from the Atlantic in a westerly airflow.
Uncertain, but there may be very gusty conditions at times in western areas. Variable cloud cover, with some sunny spells. Highs of 13 to 16 degrees.
