Ireland is set for a wet and windy turn in weather as Met Eireann has warned of thunderstorms and potential flooding.
While temperatures will remain relatively humid, heavy showers are expected throughout the majority of the weekend.
Some sunny spells will break through the poor weather to allow for some much-needed pockets of sunshine.

A forecaster said: "More rain moving in tonight with a wet start tomorrow morning and some heavy thundershowers following along some strong gusts but clearing to sunny spells and showers dying out by evening."
Friday will see the rain clearing to make way for sunny spells. However, heavy, blustery showers will return throughout the day.
In another turn, Met Eireann has predicted thunder in places with possible hail and spot flooding.
Temperatures will remain relatively high, ranging between 13 to 16 degrees, with the best values further east.
Heavy showers will ease early in the night, becoming more isolated and mainly confined to Atlantic coasts.
It will be largely dry elsewhere with long clear spells, but cloud will build from the southwest later in the night.
After a dry start to Saturday morning with the best of the early sunny spells in the southeast, cloud will continue to build from the southwest with scattered showers developing, most frequent in the west and north with good dry periods elsewhere.
Towards the evening, a few more sunny spells will develop, with highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.
It will be a mild and humid night with a good deal of cloud.
Showers will persist mainly along Atlantic coasts. Drier further east with just a few odd showers occurring.
Sunday will get off to a showery start, remaining most frequent in the west and north, with the best of the dry periods in the east and southeast.
Later in the afternoon and evening, the cloud will break up, allowing for good sunny spells to develop.
Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 or 19 degrees, mildest in the east, in moderate southwest to west winds.
There'll be widespread showers on Monday, which will be heavy at times in the afternoon.
Turning cooler as well with highest temperatures in the mid-teens.
Current indications are that it will continue unsettled through the rest of the week with spells of rain and showers in mostly moderate westerly or southwesterly winds but increasing fresh at times.
