Ireland will bask in glorious weather with warm temperatures and dry conditions for the month of May.
Mercury is set to soar over the coming weeks as May will enjoy stunning weather, according to Met Eireann's long-range forecast.
High pressure is set to dominate this week with below-average rainfall bringing a great deal of dry weather, especially in the southwest.

The temperatures will be milder than average too.
However, high pressure will move away bringing "less settled" weather next week.
While the western half of the country will be drier than average, the east will see a normal amount of rain.
It will be a warm week for the time of the year.
Here is what Met Eireann has to say about the last two weeks of the month
Week 3 (Monday 16 May to Sunday 22 May)
"For Week 3, the signal is weaker overall but it suggests that there will be high pressure out to the west with a potential north to northwest airflow bringing in drier than average conditions though some showers will feed into the north and northwest with more normal amounts there. Milder conditions will likely persist in Week 3 as well."
Week 4 (Monday 23 May to Sunday 29 May)
"In Week 4, there is a weak signal for low pressure to build from the north bringing more unsettled conditions with above-average rainfall amounts possible for much of the country.
"Temperatures will likely return closer to normal though may still be slightly above average."
