Ireland's heatwave is set to come to an end "with a bang" - as heavy rain showers and thunderstorms will roll across the island to break up the air.
At the moment, we're under a high temperature warning, issued fresh by Met Éireann on Thursday morning.
Already, we've seen temperatures of around about 20C and that's before the sun has even reached its peak - with temperatures set to hit 30C by the time the weekend is done.
Enjoy that glorious sunshine while you can - because there is a storm brewing according to the latest weather models.
Expert Alan O'Reilly has noticed this and he believes that things will cool as the heatwave breaks on Sunday.
He wrote: "The dry spell could come to an end with a bang on Sunday as there is a risk of thunderstorms and heavy showers. Looking cooler from Monday with more heavy showers also."
Met Eireann back up his prediction as well, as they've also forecast a turn in things.
They say that Sunday "is expected to start dry and sunny however cloud may build in some areas during the day, bringing possible heavy showers or thundery downpours to parts.
"Very warm with light winds, highs in the mid to high 20s. Sunday night will be rather warm and muggy with possible showers."
And that ticks into Monday, which will be "a cloudier day with heavy scattered showers likely and possible thunder, although some places will be dry. Light to moderate northwest winds. Not as warm, with current indications showing highest temperatures to be in the low 20s."
