Ireland rugby fans not impressed as music blares during breaks in play at the Aviva

Many rugby fans were not getting in the groove as music blared at the Aviva Stadium during breaks in play in the match between Ireland and South Africa.

Ireland sensationally took the scalp of the world champions with a 19-16 victory in the Autumn International.

Josh van der Flier and Mack Hansen got the crucial tries for Ireland who hung on heroically to beat the Springboks.

The sides will meet again at next year's World Cup as they have been drawn in the same pool.

But while Irish fans will celebrate the victory in Dublin tonight, many weren't keen on the in-match entertainment at the Aviva.

When the match was stopped for things like injuries or any kind of breaks in play, music was blared out over the speakers at the stadium.

Playing music during stoppages in matches is often done in rugby matches in the southern hemisphere.

But many Irish rugby fans were not too impressed that we have followed suit, including the playlist that featured the likes of U2 and Oasis:
