Ireland is currently enjoying temperatures in the mid-20s and is hotter than Barcelona and other holiday hotspots in mainland Europe.
Met Éireann has said the current good spell looks set to continue well into next week but there is also a speed bump on weather maps for the middle of next week.
In its outlook for the next few days, Met Éireann says: "High pressure will continue to dominate our weather with largely dry conditions and plenty of sunshine. Generally mild though an easterly airflow will keep it coolest close to the Irish Sea."

Mostly sunny today with morning low cloud clearing. Some patchy cloud will bubble up at times later this afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 18 to 24 degrees in light to moderate east to northeast breezes, mildest in the west and southwest, but cooler near the Irish Sea.
Saturday will be warm and clear with temperatures reaching the low to mid-20s while it will remain dry and clear overnight with temperatures between 5 and 11 degrees.
In its forecast, Met Eireann continues to say that Sunday will be a "dry and mostly sunny" day with "some patchy cloud" developing during the afternoon.
"A stray light shower couldn't be ruled out in the north," a spokesperson said.
"Highest temperatures on Sunday range from 18 degrees in the east to 25 degrees in the west and southwest, all in light to moderate easterly winds.
Bank Holiday Monday will also be "largely dry with good spells of sunshine," according to forecasters.
However, they continued: "Some cloud will develop during the late morning and afternoon bringing the chance of isolated light showers, most likely in the north.
"Noticeably milder in the east than previous days as highest temperatures will range from 19 or 20 degrees in the north and east to 24 degrees in the west and southwest, all in mostly light easterly breezes."
Met Éireann predicts "very little change" for Tuesday and Wednesday with "mostly dry conditions and plenty of sunshine."
"There will be some cloud at times bringing with it a few light showers, most likely in the north and west. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees generally in light to moderate easterly."
In their further outlook, some uncertainty comes with a "possibility of more showers."
"Current indications suggest that it will continue mild with sunny spells for the rest of the week. However, while it will stay dry for most, there is a possibility of more in the way of showers," they concluded.
