Vera Pauw has named her 23-woman Ireland squad for the World Cup.
The official panel was named this morning as Ireland ramp up their preparations for next month's tournament. As expected, Liverpool forward Leanne Kiernan has missed out on the final 23, while team-mate Megan Campbell and Manchester United defender Aoife Mannion are also absent through injury.
Birmingham City midfielder Jamie Finn and West Ham winger Jess Ziu are also among the notable names not picked. Finn will travel as one of the three training players, however, alongside Harriet Scott and Sophie Whitehouse.
Among those that were chosen, there is a place for 21-year-old West Ham wing-back Izzy Atkinson, off the back of an impressive showing in Ireland's 3-2 friendly win over Zambia, while Shamrock Rovers' 18-year-old striker Abbie Larkin also makes the panel.
