President Trump officially denied reports that Iranian forces caused damage to American military aircraft during a recent raid on an air base in Jordan, The Hill reports. The president addressed these claims on Thursday during a phone call with Robert Sherman.
When asked if there was any truth to the reports regarding damaged planes, the president was very clear with his response. “Nope,” the president said. He further emphasized his position by stating, “None whatsoever. No damage. No nothing.”
