Notably, Raisi did not mention Israel's strike on Iran, which occurred on Friday, local time. However, he did commend the Iranian military operation that took place over the weekend, targeting what he referred to as the 'Israeli-occupied territories.'
The retaliatory strikes carried out by Iran on April 13 were part of an operation known as 'True Promise.' Raisi emphasized that these actions were a demonstration of Iran's military capabilities and were deemed necessary in response to what he labeled as the 'illegal regime.'
