Iranian Hulk and Kazakh Titan will only have eight minutes to KO each other

The 'Iranian Hulk' Sajad Gharibi and 'Kazakh Titan' Djumanov Almat Bakhytovich will have just four rounds of two minutes each to try to land a knockout in their upcoming fight.

Social media stars Gharibi and Bakhytovich have agreed to a super-heavyweight boxing match which will take place in Dubai on July 31, with a star-studded undercard expected. The pair are huge bodybuilders who weigh over 630lb collectively, and will be expected to throw heavy punches over the brief contest.

Gharibi was due to face Martyn Ford in London this April, but the Brit pulled out due to concerns over his rival's mental health after a comical face-off. The Iranian strongman demanded a new opponent, and British promotion Wicked 'N' Bad have obliged with a major opportunity in the Middle East.

The fight card will be headlined by Gharibi and Bakhytovich, but will also feature influencer fights including controversial YouTube star Ryan Taylor's return to the ring. The Brit was expected to face Slim Albaher on July 16 in London, but the fight was cancelled after a hotel fracas that saw Albaher pick up an eye injury and be forced out.

Now, the YouTuber is in talks with MMA fighter Anthony Taylor for an exhibition bout. The former Bellator lightweight is best known for fighting Tommy Fury last summer and for sparring Jake Paul in the lead-up to his first fight with Tyron Woodley.

Senegalese MMA star Oumar Kane, better known for his ring name 'Reug Reug' will make his boxing debut on the card as well. Kimbo Slice's son Kevin Ferguson Jr is also set to face a British opponent, but no name has been decided as yet. "This fight is for me to set the record straight," Gharibi said of the bout. "I will be a great champion for Iran and I'll represent my people with respect and all my strength.

"After I win this fight, I want to challenge myself against Martyn Ford, this fight will happen, if Martyn is too scared to fight me then the world will know. I’m stepping into the ring now ready to fight”.

Bakhytovich is much less known of a quantity, having around 24,000 Instagram followers to Gharibi's one million plus. But he appears to have a fighting background of some description, and is confident he will have his hand raised.

“Many people are saying they don’t know who I am," he said. "But they will see on July 31 who Kazakh Titan is, my power. I am going to make history by winning and making it the most entertaining show that has been in Dubai. When I win this fight, I want to fight Fedor in Almaty and bring the biggest fight to the country ever.”
