
According to the statement, Iran now considers financial institutions associated with the US and Israel to be legitimate targets. The military command said the alleged strike on a banking facility in Tehran had effectively given Iran “free rein” to retaliate against economic infrastructure belonging to Washington and the “Zionist regime.”
The spokesperson also issued a warning to civilians across the region, urging people to remain at least 1,000 metres away from banks and financial institutions that could be linked to the United States or Israel.
