Iran Warns Israel Against Further Actions In Lebanon

Iran issued a warning to Israel following a deadly rocket strike in the town of Majdal Shams. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that Israel lacks moral authority to comment on the incident and dismissed Israel's accusations against others.

Israel has attributed the attack to Hezbollah, a powerful Iran-backed Islamist movement in Lebanon. However, Hezbollah has denied involvement in the strike that resulted in the deaths of at least 12 children.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza has heightened tensions in the region, exposing the longstanding shadow war between Israel and Iran. Iran's allies and proxies, known as the axis of resistance, have targeted Israeli and US military positions in recent months.

Lebanon's caretaker Foreign Minister cautioned against Israeli incursions into Lebanon, warning that such actions could trigger a regional war. He highlighted the potential involvement of various militias from Yemen, Iraq, and Syria in a conflict between Israel and Lebanon.
