Iran’s new supreme leader rejects calls for ceasefire with US

  • This attack was part of a fresh wave of assaults launched by Tehran across the Middle East, as the "US-Israeli war on Iran" entered its third week, with at least 2,000 fatalities.
  • The Al-Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone was also damaged during the strikes, and two Katyusha rockets were intercepted near the embassy.
