The Iranian mission to the United Nations has issued a statement regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Yahya Sinwar in an active warzone. The mission expressed that Sinwar's actions will serve to strengthen the spirit of resistance among Muslims.

The statement highlighted Sinwar's bravery on the battlefield, noting that he was not in hiding but rather facing the enemy directly in combat attire. The mission believes that Sinwar's example will inspire youth and children to continue his path towards the liberation of Palestine.

Iran, along with Hezbollah, the Houthis, and other groups, forms an alliance led by Iran that spans across Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Gaza, and Iraq. This alliance has been involved in attacks against Israel and its allies since the beginning of the conflict in Gaza. They have stated that they will continue to engage in hostilities until a ceasefire is achieved in the Palestinian enclave.
