Iran ridicules Trump’s peace plan with cutting five-word put down

  • President Donald Trump's 15-point peace proposal for Iran, which included demands to dismantle nuclear capabilities and abandon regional proxies, has been ridiculed by Tehran.
  • Iran described the proposal as "excessive" and a "strategic failure," with a high-ranking official calling it "extremely maximalist and unreasonable" – adding: “It’s not even beautiful on paper.”
  • Iran has issued five key demands for a ceasefire, including a complete stop to aggression, payment of damages, and recognition of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Following Iran's rejection of the peace plan, the Pentagon confirmed the deployment of U.S. ground troops, including elements of the 82nd Airborne Division, to the Middle East.
  • Pakistan is reportedly conveying Iran's response to Washington, while European countries have adopted a more passive role, welcoming any productive talks.
