A young Iranian protester will be be executed on Wednesday in Tehran’s crackdown on spiralling dissent against the regime, according to reports.

A human rights group said clothes shop owner Erfan Soltani, 26, will be the first protester to be hanged by the Islamic Republic in its brutal response to the uprising.
