Iran planned to bomb California, according to alert issued by FBI

Police in California were warned that Iran could retaliate to US airstrikes in the Middle East by launching drones at the West Coast.

An alert issued by the FBI at the end of February warned relevant departments that Iran aspired to carry out a “surprise attack” from offshore using drones to target unspecified sites in California.
