Iran on Tuesday confirmed the death of its national security chief Ali Larijani, hours after Israel took responsibility of killing him in an airstrike. Iran president also condoled the death while vowing to take revenge.
"The pure souls of the martyrs embraced the purified soul of God's righteous servant, Martyr Dr. Ali Larijani," said Iran's Supreme National Security Council in a statement, as quoted by AFP.
