Iran arrests Europeans accused of role in protests, 19 killed during attack on police station

Iran has arrested nine European nationals, blaming "foreign enemies" for protests that swept the country after the death of a woman while in the custody of morality police .

The detention of citizens of Germany, Poland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and other countries is likely to increase tensions between Iran and the West over the death of Mahsa Amini.
