IPL Rule Recap: The Impact Player rule

IPL MI IPL 2023 KKR

IPL 2023 is now around the corner and from this edition onwards the fans will get to see a new rule which promises to make matches more exciting.

This will be the very first season where teams will get to choose an 'Impact Player'. This will be a substitute player who can come in to both bat and bowl. The idea is to emulate what sports like football, basketball etc do, whereby subs are brought in depending on the situation of the match.
