JAIPUR: Going unsold in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction last year left Manav Suthar disappointed, and he worked hard to ensure he had a team to represent in the 2024 season. On Tuesday, the left-arm spinner from Rajasthan got picked by the Gujarat Titans at his base price Rs 20,0000 lakh. The 21-year-old's coach Dheeraj Sharma shared that it was important for Manav to play in the IPL.
"I spoke to him after he was bought by Titans, and he was happy. It is a big stage, and we all know that it helps a player to put himself out for everyone to see his skill set. He is hoping that he gets games to play and is determined to do well so that it can help in making it to the Indian side," the coach said. Manav is currently in South Africa, plying his trade for the India A.
