The opening day of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in Jeddah saw Punjab Kings going in with the biggest purse among the 10 franchises and were expectedly the most aggressive in spending. However, ahead of the concluding day of the auction, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have the most left in the bank.
Before the auction began, Punjab had INR 110.50 crore following their decision to spend just INR 9.50 crore on retaining two uncapped players -- Shashank Singh for INR 5.5 crore and Prabhsimran Singh for INR 4 crore.
