NEW DELHI: The two-day Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, witnessed ten franchises spending a whopping Rs 639.15 crore to buy the services of 182 players.
With major squad changes following the IPL mega auction, the upcoming season is poised to witness significant shifts in batting lineups, particularly in the crucial opening partnerships. Apart from Delhi Capitals, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, and 2024 runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad, all other franchises are likely to feature revamped opening pairs.
