IPL 2024: Sri Lanka's Matheesha Pathirana reaches Chennai, will join CSK squad soon

NEW DELHI: Matheesha Pathirana's manager, Amila Kalugalage, has confirmed that the talented Sri Lankan pacer has arrived in Chennai and is set to link up with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad imminently.

Pathirana had been sidelined due to a hamstring injury sustained during the second T20I of the series against Bangladesh. Consequently, he missed out CSK's season opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
