NEW DELHI: An all-round bowling effort was followed by a sizzling unbeaten 89 from Philip Salt as Kolkata Knight Riders blew away a clueless Lucknow Super Giants by 8 wickets to register their fourth win of this Indian Premier League season in Kolkata on Sunday.
The bowlers led by Mitchell Starc -- IPL's most expensive buy ever -- first restricted Lucknow to a below-par 161 for 7 on a traditionally high-scoring Eden Gardens and then the chase had the fireworks from Salt as KKR chased down the total with 26 balls to spare.
