NEW DELHI: Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag on Tuesday said that Mumbai Indians' star batsman Suryakumar Yadav should bat at number three for Mumbai Indians.
"SKY can be the permanent No. 3 for Mumbai Indians because he's a good player of pace and spin. Although it all boils down to the team management (when it comes to taking such decisions), but I strongly believe he should get to face more balls," said Sehwag.
Mumbai Indians, who have won IPL title five times, will face Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday in Lucknow. Mumbai Indians gathered steam in the second half of the IPL 2023 and have won four of their last five games.
