NEW DELHI: Looking to start afresh after the Virat Kohli captaincy era and still looking for their maiden IPL title, Royal Challengers Bangalore announced recently that South African Faf du Plessis will be their new captain.
Despite having one of the biggest fan bases in cricket's biggest extravaganza, RCB has failed to deliver a single title in the last 14 years. But now, with an almost complete makeover of the team, the 2016 runners-up will be looking to set the stage on fire as they begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Punjab Kings, starting March 27.
