iPhone stolen from Bristol teenager as police launch appeal to find 'online buyers'

A teenager had his Apple iPhone stolen in Bristol. The 15-year-old victim had reportedly advertised his phone for sale online before the proposed buyers turned up at his home and stole it.

Avon and Somerset Police say the alleged burglary took place in the Redfield area at around 5.20pm on December 31, 2022. The buyers got inside the property while the victim was upstairs and took the mobile phone.

Investigating officers have released images of two men they would like to identify in connection with the reported burglary. They are urging anyone with information to get in touch.

"If you can help us identify them, please call us. If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222310784, or complete our online appeals form."
