At the September Glowtime Apple event, the Cupertino company revealed the iPhone 16 family, iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max coming in hard to bring some compelling upgrades.
These range from a new main camera, bigger batteries, a powerful A18 Pro chip, to larger displays and being ready for Apple Intelligence. And there's the new Camera Control button.
As such, these are two iPhones that may have caught your eye. So when will they be released?
Well that's an easy question to answer: September 20 for both models.
And, at the time of writing, iPhone 16 pre-orders go live September 13, so you have time to secure one of the new phones ahead of their release. Both the pre-order and release days are on a Friday.
If you get a pre-order in on September 13, then there's a good chance you could take delivery of an iPhone 16 Pro or 16 Pro Max on September 20. As it stands, we're not predicting any shipping delays or stock shortages.
But both phones offer enough to have people upgrading from the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and maybe even from iPhone 15 models. So it would be smart to jump on a pre-order ahead of the release date to avoid any disappointment, if the new Pro iPhones garner more attention than we expected.
However, if you're reading this after September 20, do checkout out iPhone 16 deals page for any carrier offers, and take a look at the widget below that should flag prices and deals for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in your area.
