Apple's upcoming iOS 27 is expected to introduce a redesigned Messages app with artificial intelligence-powered features, improved messaging tools and enhanced support for conversations with Android users, according to reports. The update includes AI-generated message summaries, one-tap suggestions, message drafting in a user's writing style and the ability to disable speech-to-text.
The features were announced during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) last month. While iOS 27 is scheduled for public release in September, users enrolled in Apple's Beta Software Program can access the update early through beta testing.
