Investigator 'felt sorry' for mum of woman who claims to be Madeleine McCann

The investigator who is helping Julia Wendell - the Polish woman who says she might be Madeleine McCann - says she 'felt sorry' for the 21-year-old's mum after her daughter's claims left the family "devastated".

Julia's family have cut off contact with her after she made the shocking claim that she might be the missing Brit who vanished while on a family holiday in Praia da Luz on May 3, in 2007.

Dr Fia Johansson, the private investigator and self-professed psychic helping her to discover her identity through DNA tests, said she felt "sorry" for Julia's mum and reiterated she wouldn't give up on the case, the Daily Record reports.
