Authorities in Lithuania are currently investigating a disturbing incident involving the former chief of staff to the late Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny. The victim was reportedly attacked outside his home, where he was struck with a hammer 15 times. The assailant also sprayed tear gas at him and broke into his car during the assault.
The victim has described the attack as politically motivated, referring to it as an 'obvious, typical gangster greeting from Putin from Bandit St. Petersburg.'
