AN investigation has been launched into the use of banned pyrotechnics at Sunday night's Liam Gallagher gig in Glasgow.
Images taken at Hampden Park appear to show large billows of coloured smoke within the crowd, despite flares and smoke canisters being listed as forbidden items.
The police are aware of the activity and are now conducting enquiries, according to the Glasgow Times.
A source attending the gig said that a large police presence was in place throughout the evening with dog units carrying out searches.
A total of five arrests were made at the event in connection with disorder offences relating to alcohol.
