A garda investigation has been launched after a vacant premises on a street in north inner city Dublin was set on fire this evening.
The building on Sherrard Street in Dublin 1 was set alight just after 5.30pm this evening and Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the scene. There were no injuries reported and the flames were quickly extinguished.
Gardai are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation. Footage has emerged online of the alleged incident which gardai have said cannot be verified.
