An investigation has been launched into the death of a popular dad who died while at work in Bulwell. Anthony Watson - known as Tony, and described by his family as their 'best friend' - died on July 11 while working at Cheshires of Nottingham.
The company is a flooring distributor owned by the Headlam Group. Grandad Mr Watson died at the age of 50 but the circumstances surrounding his death are unclear.
The UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE) confirmed a joint investigation to find out what happened is ongoing between Nottinghamshire Police and Nottingham City Council. The incident happened on a local authority enforced site and a spokesperson for HSE confirmed it will support the city council with any technical investigation services.

Paul Dales, chief environmental health officer at Nottingham City Council, said: "This is a very sad incident and our thoughts are with the man’s friends and family. The environmental health service is working in partnership with the police and HSE to establish the facts of what happened."
Police said they were called to an incident in Dabell Avenue, Bulwell, shortly before 10.55am on Monday, July 11, but that a man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers said they were working with the authorities to understand what happened.
In a heartfelt tribute, the family of Mr Watson said he was "loved by everyone". He leaves behind sons Luke and Ryan and wife Michelle Watson.
A spokesperson for Headlam Group said: "Tony Watson was a much-valued colleague of everyone at Cheshires. Our sincere condolences are with Tony's family and friends, and our priority is to support them at this difficult time.
"Tony worked for us for more than 33 years and was not just a work colleague, he was considered a friend and an irreplaceable member of the Cheshires team - everyone has been shocked and deeply saddened by his death. We will continue to give our full support and co-operation to the ongoing investigation currently being undertaken by the authorities."
