A teenage girl was reportedly grabbed by the throat by a security guard during an under 18s event.
Footage has emerged online of a girl allegedly being choked by a security worker at Rainton Arena.
The incident occurred during an under 18s event called 'WE ARE BOUNCE' at the venue in Houghton-le-Spring on Friday night.

Rainton Arena told ChronicleLive that a security company was hired for the event. They said Northumbria Police has been made aware of the incident and the child's parents have been contacted and shown all CCTV.
They said the event organisers are all parents and they "will not accept this type of behaviour towards anyone".
A spokesperson for Rainton Arena said: "We will be doing as much as possible to keep aiding any investigations by Northumbria Police."
In a statement, Rainton Arena said a full investigation of the incident is now ongoing.
They posted on social media: "We do not condone behaviour of that sort in any way. The Police and Security Industry Authority are aware of the incident and are dealing with this accordingly.
"All CCTV Coverage has been reviewed by the venue along with the parent of the child concerned. The child’s parents are in contact with the Security Company and afull investigation of the incident is now ongoing.
"The Security Company is not employed by Rainton Arena, it is a Third Party Company used for the event. We do appreciate your concern but can assure you that this is being dealt with efficiently."
