John Robertson is departing his role as Inverness sporting director.
The club stated that the former Hearts striker and manager was leaving to “pursue other opportunities in the game”.
Robertson was twice Caley Thistle manager – leading them to the First Division title, three Challenge Cup triumphs and three Scottish Cup semi-finals.

He moved into the sporting director role in 2021 following a period of compassionate leave during his second spell as manager.
Chairman Ross Morrison praised Robertson’s “astute transfer dealings” and added: “His drive to establish the new 10-acre hub for the ICT Community Trust working with Highland Council, sportscotland and the SFA and his input into accessing six-figure grants for our Community Trust in particular has gone unseen by almost everyone out with the football club.
“We wish him well in his future endeavours and he will always be welcome at the Caledonian Stadium.”
