Inverness handed 10,000 tickets for Celtic clash as allocation for Scottish Cup final 'revealed'

Inverness will reportedly get the chance to sell 10,000 tickets for their Scottish Cup final with Celtic.

Caley Thistle booked their place in the Hampden showpiece by thumping Falkirk 3-0 and travel back to the national stadium in June in the hopes of one of Scottish football's all-time great cup upsets. Ange Postecoglou's side, having sent Rangers packing, will almost certainly be vying for a Treble in the June 3 showdown as they stand just one win away from adding the Premiership to the Viaplay Cup they already claimed against their rivals.

Billy Dodds' team made the final in front of 4,000+ jubilant fans who made the long trip south for their win over the Bairns despite most adult briefs costing £39 and the game kicking off at the inconvenient time of 12.15pm. But the Scottish Sun say the Caley Jags will get the chance to more than double that with at least 8,000 tickets to be offered initially with the option of 2,000 more of the demand is there. There is no word on Celtic's allocation but it's expected they would be handed the majority of the stadium.

It was earlier claimed the final will also kick off at lunchtime as broadcasters don't want it to clash with the FA Cup final, due to commence at 3pm. Broadcasters Viaplay and the BBC are pushing for the earlier slot despite a 5.15pm being an option that also wouldn't clash with the English showpiece.
