Inverness made sure of a Premiership playoff semi-final with Arbroath as Austin Samuels sealed a 3-1 aggregate win over Partick Thistle.
The Highland side sealed a dramatic 2-1 victory in Glasgow during the week as Shane Sutherland and Samuels overturned Robbie Crawford's opener to put them in front.
English striker Samuels only joined from Aberdeen in January having struggled to make any sort of impact at Pittodrie.
But he was the Inverness hero once again here as he struck in the first half to put Caley one in front on the night and two in front on aggregate.
Home keeper Mark Ridgers enjoyed an excellent game and denied Brian Graham in a first half the Jags will have felt unlucky to lose.
But they couldn't find a way past the big keeper who held on for a clean sheet.
It was a win wildly celebrated by the home fans as they advance to face Arbroath in the semi-final.
The winner of that tie will then face the Premiership team - looking likely to be St Johnstone unless Dundee can pull off the greatest of great escapes.
