International Women’s Day shines a global spotlight on the achievements of women, while highlighting the challenges they still face as they strive for a gender-equal world.
This year's event on March 8 is themed around Embracing Equity, with organisers calling on people to challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias and seek out inclusion.
