Inter Milan boss delivers Romelu Lukaku transfer verdict as Chelsea delay pre-season return

Chelsea are hoping to sell Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window with the Belgian striker pushing to return to Inter Milan. The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Inter and helped them reach the UEFA Champions League final.

Lukaku is yet to return to Chelsea pre-season training as speculation over his future continues to circulate on social media. The Blues moved his return date to Monday, July 17 in the hope the transfer saga involving Inter will have been resolved.

Lukaku has attracted interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, but the Belgium international wants to continue his career in Europe. Juventus have joined Inter in the race to sign the 30-year-old, but it seems Lukaku has his heart set on a return to the San Siro.
