Tottenham Hotspur are through to the Champions League round of 16 for the first time since 2019 after a second-half comeback against Marseille at the Stade Velodrome.
The result means that Tottenham top Group D after Sporting Lisbon lost 2-1 to Frankfurt in the other game. Spurs would have confirmed qualification to the knockout stages last week but had Harry Kane's late goal ruled out for offside.
Antonio Conte watched on from the sidelines as his side overcame a 1-0 deficit at the break in France. Chancel Mbemba headed in to give the home side the lead, but goals from Clement Lenglet and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg ensured that Spurs finished top of their group.

Due to winning the group, Tottenham now have a narrowed group of sides they can play in the competition, facing one of the second-placed teams. They cannot draw an English team in the last-16, nor can they face the other qualified team from their group - Frankfurt.
So who can they face? They will know for sure who they can be drawn against when the final four groups are concluded tonight (November 3), but here are the potential options.
Who has qualified?
Napoli won Group A, with Liverpool in second place, but Spurs cannot face another English team in the last 16. Group B was won by Porto, with Club Brugge an option as the second placed team there. And Inter Milan are also an option having finished second behind Bayern Munich in Group C - that would see Antonio Conte reunited with his former employers.
Borussia Dortmund have already confirmed second spot in Group G too, ahead of tonight's final round of matches. That leaves three other spots open.
Who can still qualify?
Either PSG or Benfica will finish second in Group H, but it is in Groups E and F where there is more jeopardy. If RB Leipzig lose to Shakhtar it will be the Ukrainian side finishing second in Group F. In Group E one of AC Milan or RB Salzburg will finish second, depending on the result between the two tonight.
The other groups finish tonight. Currently AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Benfica hold the second spots in their groups. However, much could change.
