Following the extraordinary interview he has given to Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo looks almost certain to leave Manchester United in January having publicly accused Erik ten Hag of trying to force him out of the club.
Options for the 37-year-old appear to be limited, with the six-time Ballon D'Or winner having made efforts to leave United in January with no success. One option, however, could be a move to join David Beckham's Inter Miami franchise in the MLS with the Florida club having been touted as a potential destination ever since it emerged that he was unsettled at United in the summer.
His signing would be a link-up with two former United stars, with Phil Neville coaching the side which is financed by Beckham. In addition, he may have to compete for a place at the club with Lionel Messi, who has also been linked with a move to Miami.

Beckham has already spoken about the prospect of bringing Ronaldo to the club, raising the possibility of signing the Portuguese forward. However, speaking in May he also reiterated the importance of the player to United fans - although the situation looks as though it has now changed.
"Obviously Cristiano is one of the best players over the last 15 years, with Leo [Messi]," Beckham explained to Sky Sports earlier this year. "To see him stay on, hopefully at United, is important for the fans.
"It's important to him - we all know how much Man United means to him. He's still doing what he does best, scoring goals. That's what Cristiano does. To be doing what he's doing at his age is really incredible, so hopefully it continues for another year or two."
These comments came at a time when United appeared to need Ronaldo, who was their top scorer last season. Now, he appears to be less important, having to play a backup role under new boss Ten Hag. While the comments give little away, they do reveal an admiration for a player who remains one of the biggest stars in world football.
