Instagram outage leaves users struggling to use app

Instagram experienced widespread technical issues on Wednesday, with users globally reporting problems.
The primary issue reported was the inability to send messages on the Meta-owned platform.
The outage began in the early hours of the day and continued to be reported worldwide.
At its peak, over 12,000 users reported issues, according to the online platform Downdetector.
Nearly three-quarters of the complaints registered were from Instagram app users.
