Many teenagers spend hour after hour scrolling through social media apps and now Instagram are making changes in a bid to tackle this.
Children can quickly become addicted to social media and other apps so Instagram is launching supervision tools for UK teenagers' accounts. It will allow them to keep an eye on their profiles and set daily use limits.
The changes will also allow parents to see who their children follow and who is following them. The new supervision features were first launched in the US in March but are now being expanded to the UK and Ireland for the first time.
