Instagram has been causing users problems, with many reporting their social media account is down this morning.
On Tuesday, December 6, hundreds of users complained about the mysterious outage. The issues began just after 11am, with the popular photo sharing app failing to cooperate.
And lots of people took to Twitter to share their frustrations, with Downdetector also listing hundreds of reports. It remains unclear how widespread the issue is, by Downdetector highlighted that the issue is impacting people across Glasgow and the West.

It is not the first time the social media platform her faced server issues.
One user took to Twitter and said: "Instagram is down… YET AGAIN! Maybe they’ll fix my no notifications issue I’ve had for past 4 months!! #instagramdown ".
Another user simply asked: "Instagram down for anyone else?", with many taking to Twitter to find out the same thing.
A third joked: "When Instagram is down and everyone’s running to twitter to see what’s happening".
