Inspector booked for accepting bribe of 13,000

Police Corruption Mumbai

MUMBAI: A police inspector attached to Deonar police station was caught accepting a bribe by the anti corruption bureau on Friday.

The ACB caught police inspector Haribhau Bankar accepting Rs 13,000 to remove a complainant from an offence pertaining to outraging the modesty of woman.

He has been booked under the prevention of corruption act.
