Former Rangers striker Jermain Defoe reckons former teammate Alfredo Morelos is never happy with a win unless he finds the net.
The veteran was brought in to provide competition for the Colombian and spent three years with the Ibrox talisman in Govan.
He also spent time coaching the striker during this campaign before his three-year spell at the club ended earlier this month.
After a slow start to the Premiership season, Morelos has looked like a player reborn under Gio van Bronckhorst.
The England cap believes there is still room for improvement in the Colombian's game, but insists he is always motivated to score.
He admits that even if Rangers win Morelos isn't happy unless he is on the scoresheet.
Defoe told The Athletic : “Alfredo is someone who loves scoring goals.
“ If we win 8-0 and he hasn’t scored, he’s not happy. I was the same when I was younger.
“When he’s scoring and confident, he is ruthless. He moves defenders about and has a good appetite.
“He’s got room to improve and can develop the other types of finishes, like the dinks when the goalkeeper goes down or using a little roll.
"He’s got so much power and is a clean striker of the ball. When he gets a yard, he just unleashes.”
