The Cleveland Browns are set for their preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks, but quarterback Deshaun Watson is not going to play.
But according to insider Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland dot com, he wanted to. However, Watson was given a chunk of rest time during Wednesday’s practice, and the Browns are in a precarious situation with their offensive line right now. Head coach Kevin Stefanski opted not to put him out there.

This means Watson’s first live-action snap since he suffered a season-ending injury against the Baltimore Ravens last year will come when the Browns open their season against the Dallas Cowboys. He did, however, take the majority of the live reps on the joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings, which tend to be more demanding than a preseason game.
Will the Browns regret not getting Watson live game reps before the start of the season, or will he finally live up to the hype in the brown and orange?
